General Questions

Do you deliver all the photos taken?

No, we don’t. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, incorrectly set images, or images with poor expressions, so we only provide you with the beautiful ones. Of course, we share all photos that meet the standards and can provide a beautiful image of the shoot or your wedding!

Can we get the RAW files?

In short: no, you cannot.

How long does it take to receive the photos?

That depends on the type of shoot you choose. Normal photoshoots are always delivered within 2 weeks. Weddings are discussed with the bridal couple.

Style Questions

What is your photography style?

I have a unique photography style. I love creative lighting, unique perspectives and angles, and beautiful post-processing. Additionally, most moments are captured spontaneously. I always find it important that you, as a customer, are ultimately satisfied with the photos. The style and post-processing can always be discussed in advance.

Can I send/show examples of the style I like?

Certainly, you can. I find it important that you/you all are ultimately happy with the photos. If you have specific photos in mind or a specific style, let me know in advance so we can discuss it.

What can we expect for video?

There are some videos on our YouTube channel that we recently made. The videos are edited in the same color style as the photos, and a video of your wedding lasts about 3 to 5 minutes. There is an option to choose your own song, but we can also do that for you.

Wedding Questions

When should I book a wedding photographer?

As soon as you know your wedding date, you can book a wedding photographer. It’s always wise to do it as soon as possible. Get in touch to ask if we are available on your wedding date.

How do I book a wedding photographer?

To book a wedding photographer, it’s important to first secure your wedding date. Afterward, you can contact us to see if we are available on your wedding date. Read our process to find out how everything works from the initial meeting to browsing your wedding album.

Where do you photograph weddings?

Also abroad? I am available for weddings throughout the Netherlands, Ireland and also abroad. Get in touch to learn more about this.

How many hours do we need a wedding photographer on our wedding day?

That depends on your wedding day. On average, we are always present for 10-12 hours on a wedding day. During a consultation, we will go through your day together and discuss how long we will be present at your wedding.

Is a photographer and a videographer too busy?

No, not at all. We are so in sync with each other that we don’t get in each other’s way. We both give each other space to get the perfect shot. It’s precisely because we know each other so well that we complement each other with ideas about the location and poses, for example.

I have some downtime on my wedding day between events. Do I have to pay for that?

The most beautiful photos are often taken during moments when it’s a bit quieter. I am present from the start time to the end time that you prefer. I often take photos in between and will bill the entire duration.

Legal Questions

What rights do I have to the digital prints?

You have the right to reprint images whenever you want. However, you may not sell or publish the photos for profit without written permission from Shots by Charlotte. You can always share the images on social media with attribution.
