Only the Highest Quality
For my photography I exclusively use the finest Nikon cameras and lenses, including the Z8 and Z6II, as part of my standard equipment. We also have the latest DJI drones and gimbals, allowing us to capture the perfect photographs in any situation.

Hello, it is me, Charlotte. Nice to meet you. Let me introduce myself! I am the photographer and content creator behind Shots by Charlotte! Residing in Dubai but active worldwide as a photographer. My passion for photography began at a young age when I bought a ‘real’ camera with my first saved money. From playing with the camera settings a bit, it quickly grew into a true passion for photography!
My goal is to capture your beautiful moments and immortalize your stories in pictures! For me, beauty lies in capturing beautiful and spontaneous moments, as a memory for later.

My style as a photographer is all about storytelling. The stories between people, places, and the details of the day. Documentary photography is about capturing moments in a way that creates timeless and precious memories that happen naturally, without many directions or interventions. I’m happiest when my photos represent the day’s story in a natural and honest way.
I photograph many life events in a creative, documentary style, creating a narrative of the events happening around me. I capture both the small details and the big moments, all in the same relaxed manner. I won’t get in your way or tell you what to do (unless you’d like that). Whether you have a photoshoot in the desert or if you are looking for a coupleshoot on the beach, I would love to hear from you!
I’ve shot in almost every imaginable type of location, from traditional churches to industrial warehouses to beaches and dunes. I’ve been fortunate to photograph in so many different environments, and I feel just as comfortable in an urban setting as in a picturesque castle. I photograph in a natural documentary style, capturing moments as they unfold before my eyes. No poses, no setups, just real moments that become lifelong memories. And if you do like some help with posing, I will be there every step of the way to make you more comfortable so you can shine on every picture.
One part of being a photographer is taking photos – but the edit is what makes a photo really stand out. I edit my photos, as you can see on this site, in a somewhat dreamy, bohemian style that brings out tranquil, warm, summer-like colors. I personally adore these warm hues that make every day feel like a summer day. With other photographers, you often see slightly harsher colors. This is truly one of the most distinguishing factors when choosing me. The photos I capture and edit all have a dreamy ‘glow’ that beautifully accentuates the romance of the day.
As an extra touch, my fiancé always accompanies me. He shoots videos and edits them into an Instagram Reel in the same bohemian style as my photos. It’s a fantastic extra we provide to have the highlights of your shoot in video format and never forget them. This is included in all our prices, so you get 2 for 1!

Wooow what a week! We had the pleasure to be part of 5 weddings the last week! From Ibiza style weddings at the @hethoutsemeer, Surinaamse vibes @abel.restaurant, 2 lovely garden weddings and yesterday a Italian style wedding @stadbroekermolen ! We loved every moment, every smile, tear and all the beautiful moments.
What a beautiful job we got, we share such beautiful and precious moment with all our couples, their family and friends.

Where it all begun...
5 years ago; my very first wedding I captured in the magical Dubai. I had no idea about the wedding industry or what a wedding would entail. But what an amazing experience it was. Since then, my love for photography and weddings has further grown.
Fast forward, 5 years later, many weddings and experiences later, I am back in the place where it all began. This place remains so special, the magic of the desert. So proud of where I stand now as a photographer, how that one wedding 5 years ago changed everything.

Where it all begun...
5 jaar geleden; mijn allereerste bruiloft heb ik vast gelegd in het magische Dubai. Ik had geen idee over de wedding industry of hoe een bruiloft er aan toe zou gaan. Maar wat een gave ervaring was dat. Sindsdien is mijn liefde voor fotografie en de bruiloften verder uitgegroeid.
Fast forward, 5 jaar later, vele bruiloften en ervaringen ben ik terug in de plek waar het allemaal begonnen is. Wat een bijzondere plek blijft dit, de magie van de woestijn. Zo trots op waar ik nu sta als fotograaf, hoe die ene bruiloft 5 jaar geleden alles veranderd heeft.
